I had fun reading about Mardi Gras and I liked that the carnival offered the perfect setting for the devils to scout their latest batch of victims while the angels-in-training battle for survival.
Jan 11, oliviasbooks rated it did not like it Shelves: The prior spring, the angels-in-training successfully passed their first of three angel tests by battling evil at the Lexington Hotel. However, Agresti threw in enough twists and extremely unexpected events and confessions that iluminate up for everything. Anyways, the thing where she found out she was an angel at the end was wonderful.
Also, their pretty and emotionally wounded housemate Sabine’s attention focused on Lance, Haven just might lose him for good. I recommend this book to those who enjoy good vs.
Aber ich habe gemerkt, dass sie sich immer weiterentwickelt hat, genauso wie Dante und Lance. Gilded Wings 3 books.

Infatuate (Gilded Wings, #2) by Aimee Agresti
I always preferred Lucian over Lance in the past two books of the series, so I was disappointed on how they both ended.
The idea of Dante as the sage adviser was fun and well written. I found all of this fascinating, and even did some more reading on the history of my own city.
Really enjoyed the first two books of this aimde. Can he be trusted? I called the love interests, called the ending which I skimmedcalled the reason behind it all April Book of the Month – Illuminate.
The way the author describes the chemistry is like a high school student falling in love with a man twice her age. I highly recommend Infatuate if you loved Illuminate, or even just liked it, since it’s so much better! I liked this book, but it left me frustrated. I will never finish this book. Like fallen angels are bad- that’s a given. She sounds like a normal girl for her age, yet manages to get enough information across. Haven being a “soul-illuminator’ added another twist besides being an illuminatf and I am quite excited to find out more about it.
I wanted to know if Haven, Dante and Lance would find out more about their heritage. Lance was also extremely intelligent and considered to be the “architect” of their little project.
Books by Aimee Agresti. Again, I sincerely hope that we learn who was behind it in book two or I may not be able to deal with it.
ILLUMINATE by Aimee Agresti | Kirkus Reviews
The switch almost came overnight and was slightly frustrating. Anyway, back to Illuminate by Aimee Agresti… I liked this book, a lot. This book was published February 5th, Lists with This Book.
While I very much enjoyed the plot and how Agresti managed to get the kids to the hotel via perfect grades something I wish would happen to me! He’s still Haven’s BFF, but has an extra dimension with his very happy romance and place at the head of the class. There was really nothing not to love. It failed to convince me. The book, Illuminate was a fabulous story. In addition, there were some elements at play in this novel that seem to run rampant through YA fiction lately: That instead someone else had been stalking them, and although he hates Lucian and is trying to warn Haven off of him, chooses that moment of darkness to sweep in and passionately kiss her.
The secrets are divulged in such a slow, steady way that I never felt the excitement of apprehension, I merely strolled through, nodding my head, while everything leisurely fell into place. Infatuate really made up for the horrible pacing but at the same time amazingly solid plotof its first book.
With two of her fellow student, she has been chosen to leave school to work in a prestigious hotel, but none of them are quite ready for what awaits them there.
He also struck me as a lot liluminate stereotypical in this book and really became a character I could root for.
It started out kind of slow and bumpy, not really feeling different from other YA stories out there. I was not always happy with the delivery. Did I find all the answers that I was looking for in Infatuate? I had to push myself to finish reading this.
